The Department of Ophthalmology at the
University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking applicants
for a full time (1.0 FTE) Assistant Professor or higher to
facilitate the establishment of a robust clinical research program
in ophthalmology and vision science. The position will
collaborate with ophthalmology faculty in designing cohort
studies, risk factor studies, and clinical trials and in analyzing
clinical and surgical outcome data with the additional goal of
obtaining NIH funding to support an independent research program.
Collaborating with other basic and vision researchers on the UC
Denver campus is expected as is participating in educational
programs within the Department of Ophthalmology.
Qualified
candidates will have a Doctoral degree in Epidemiology or
Biostatistics. Epidemiological and/or biostatistical experience
within ophthalmology is desirable.

commensurate with skills and experience. The University of
