The Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics (DCEG)’s Office of Training and Education oversees the Division’s training program. There are currently over 100 trainees, including postdoctoral, graduate, master and postbaccalaureate level fellows. We also have a vibrant summer program.

DCEG has won the Inaugural Alexander D. Langmuir Award for Training Program Excellence and Innovation.

Fellows:

  • design, carry out, analyze and publish population, family, health disparities and lab-based studies;
  • gain experience in study design, novel analytic techniques, genomics and informatics;
  • build skills in molecular epidemiology, grant writing, science management, and professional communication and networking.

Competitive stipends, health insurance benefits, loan deferments (postdoctoral trainees) and tuition reimbursement (graduate trainees) available.
