The Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, School of Public Health, University of Illinois at Chicago seeks 1-2 Assistant/Associate/Full Professor(s) of epidemiology.  This open rank appointment(s) offers the opportunity to develop an independent research program within a multidisciplinary university medical center environment.  Although other areas will be considered, the Division is particularly interested in receiving applications from individuals with a research interest in one or more of the following areas:  environmental and occupational epidemiology, maternal and child health epidemiology, and genetic/epigenetic epidemiology.

This position(s) entails graduate-level teaching of epidemiology; advising students;  serving on committees; collaborating/leading efforts to design research projects; seeking out funding to perform high-quality research; and publishing peer-reviewed articles.

Applicants should have a Doctorate in epidemiology or an equivalent degree; and a demonstrated potential for success in independent research, teaching, and advising.
