A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is
available in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics,
Department of Environmental Health, College of Medicine,
University of Cincinnati. This position involves epidemiologic
research in environmental toxicants and child development,
including literature review, research study execution, data
analysis, and report writing. The research projects examine
adverse health and neurodevelopmental effects of heavy metals and
endocrine disruptors in pregnant women, infants and young
children.
A recent doctoral degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, maternal
and child health, environmental health, or public health related
areas or a medical degree (MD) is required. Advanced skills in
statistical analysis of large epidemiologic datasets are
considered an advantage. Compensation will be commensurate with
qualification. The initial appointment will be up to two years
with the possibility to extend based on research progress.
