Summary Description: The
University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill Project-China is
accepting applications for post-doctor supported by SESH &
Shenzhen grant. This research project focuses on developing,
implementing and evaluating an MSM health testing APP using
crowdsourcing. This position offers the opportunity to be
involved in frontiers of health communication research.
Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing a
crowdsourced intervention to coordinate and manage the social
media section, write periodical papers and assist with funding
and project development and Application.
Minimum Requirements: 1.
PhD in public health, health communications, or other related
field; 2. Demonstrated ability to produce peer-reviewed
scientific articles; 3. Proficient in English and Mandarin
Chinese.
Preferred Qualifications: 1.
Experience in public health implementation in China; 2.
Experience evaluating interventions or programs; 3. The
ability to lead a team in the Chinese context.
Appointment and Salary: One
year full-time appointment with an option to extend to a
second year contingent on meeting benchmarks. Pre-tax salary
of USD42, 000.00 a year based on experiences and
qualifications.
