Tenured Associate/Full Professor in Precision Health
The
University of Chicago's Department of Family Medicine (DFM)
in the Biological Science Division (BSD) invites
applications for a tenured faculty member at the rank of
Associate/Full Professor in Precision Health who will join
the Institute for Population and Precision Health (IPPH).
We seek applicants pursuing research in precision health
and related areas.
The appointee will join IPPH and DFM and would carry out
research in the area of precision medicine within a
broader family/population health framework. Areas of
interests include (but are not limited to) epidemiology,
population health, gene-environment interactions with a
strong focus on quantitative precision health methods
including predictive analytics, machine
learning/artificial intelligence, digital health or
genomic-/biomarker-based or multimodal data-driven risk
estimations. We expect the appointee to thrive in a
collaborative environment and actively seek out work with
colleagues across the BSD and other Divisions and Schools
within the University. The appointee will be expected to
teach at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Academic
rank and compensation (including a generous package of
fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants
must have a doctoral degree or equivalent with strong
track record of extramural peer-reviewed funding and
mentoring junior investigators. Administrative or
leadership experience is desirable for applicants who are
interested in leadership roles in IPPH.
