The Department of Epidemiology and Community Health at the New York Medical College School of Health Sciences and Practice invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to teach epidemiologic methods courses at the graduate level.

Candidates will be expected to teach innovative and fully integrated models of research and practice. Candidates are also expected to participate in research and scholarship, advise and mentor students, and participate in faculty citizenship.

Opportunities exist to collaborate with over 10 local health departments, numerous community-based organizations, faculty in our Centers of Excellence in Disability and Health, Long-term Care, Disaster Medicine, Childrenís Environmental Health, and Advanced Research Support, and academic departments in the Schools of Health Sciences and Practice, Basic Medical Science, and Medicine at New York Medical College.

Candidates must have a doctoral degree in Epidemiology or a related field. Successful candidates should have strong quantitative skills, proficiency in SAS, a record of scholarly accomplishments, and will be expected to develop an externally-funded research program.
