The Division of Biostatistics in the Department of Preventive Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC) is recruiting to fill a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. We seek an accomplished biostatistician with an outstanding academic record and an innovative research program to become part of an active and growing research group. We seek someone with the ability, desire, and flexibility to develop novel statistical methods spanning a wide range of topics in the ever-changing research landscape. Examples of current projects include a Program Project to develop novel analytical approaches and tools for integrated genomics analysis, and a separate research program investigating environmental influences on child health, including life course trajectories, exposure windows in a multi-pollutant framework, and integrated analysis of “omic” data. Central to the mission of the Division is long-term collaborations with other research groups for application and translation of novel methods to real data. The Department of Preventive Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC consistently ranks as the top funded public health related department within a US medical school. The Department also has an active graduate and undergraduate educational mission and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in teaching activities.

Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, a brief summary of research accomplishments and future goals, and contact information for three references to:
