Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota seeks a Health Services Researcher with a Ph.D. in a field relevant to health services research (i.e., public health, social
science, health research methodology, health services research) or an M.D. with additional training or experience in one or more of these areas for a faculty
position as an Assistant, Associate or Full Professor.

The Health Services Researcher is expected to possess a broad understanding of one or more of the following areas: evaluation of health promotion programs,
including worksite programs; comparative effectiveness research; operations research; health economics; health disparities; survey and patient-reported
outcomes research; quality and implementation research; knowledge synthesis; knowledge translation (including shared decision making). The candidate will
also have strong methodological skills in experimental and observational designs, intervention research, survey methodology and statistical analysis, although
support in these areas is also available. The ability to develop, implement and promote practice evaluation and research activities involving multiple stakeholders in a rapidly growing and changing environment is required as is an in-depth understanding of pharmacy and medical claims/billing data. Specific experience and national recognition as an expert in the delivery of healthcare research and national recognition as an expert preferred. The candidate must possess experience directing research projects, collaborating with others in a multidisciplinary setting and securing extramural funding and must have a strong publication record.
