The Department of Epidemiology, at the Institute for Health Care Research and Improvement (IHCRI) and Baylor Health Care System (BHCS) seeks to fill a position at the rank of Cardiovascular Epidemiologist. 

The position will be filled by an individual with recognized expertise in the field of cardiovascular epidemiology as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals and funding support.  Key responsibilities include:  1) to regularly submit federal grants and to obtain federal funding within three years of hire; 2) to lead the funded projects; and 3) to regularly publish her/his research in peer-review journals.

The Department of Epidemiology at IHCRI expects that the candidate will engage in research and service with the possibility of teaching at an Assistant Professor level. Salary is commensurate with experience and level of appointment.
